The Obedience of Faith
Download MP3Summary:
The Word of God reveals the will of God. The Word of God will produce faith in our heart to believe, do, submit to in thought and action, and obey the Will of God.
Scriptures:
James 2 AMPC
17 So also faith, if it does not have works (deeds and actions of obedience to back it up), by itself is destitute of power (inoperative, dead).
22 You see that [his] faith was cooperating with his works, and [his] faith was completed and reached its supreme expression [when he implemented it] by [good] works.
26 For as the human body apart from the spirit is lifeless, so faith apart from [its] works of obedience is also dead.
Romans 1:5
through whom we have received grace and apostleship to bring about the obedience of faith for the sake of his name among all the nations,
Romans 16:26

Hebrews 11 ESV

And he went out, not knowing where he was going. 9 By faith he went to live in the land of promise, as in a foreign land, living in tents with Isaac and Jacob, heirs with him of the same promise.
Philippians 2
12 Therefore, my beloved, as you have always obeyed, so now, not only as in my presence but much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling, 13 for it is God who works in you, both to will and to work for his good pleasure.
