Matthew makes it clear that this act of physical healing fulfills Isaiah's prophecy found in Isaiah Chapter 53. It also makes it clear that physical healing is included in the redemptive work of Christ.
Matthew and Mark record that Jesus touches her, he takes her hand. Luke only says that Jesus spoke to the fever. They do not disagree. They just include different information of what Jesus did. We see healing ministered both by touch and the spoken word.
