The Harvest, Receiving By Faith
Download MP3Harvesting Will Be By Faith
We are saved, grace through faith. Faith needs corresponding action to that faith or else it’s having faith is useless.
Ephesians 2:8-9 English Standard Version
8 For by grace you have been saved (Sozo meaning saved, delivered and healed) through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God, 9 not a result of works, so that no one may boast.
James 2:17
English Standard Version
17 So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead.
So we could say, by grace you have been healed through faith.
Our harvesting our healing, taking hold of our healing, receiving our healing will be by God’s grace through faith.
We believe healing is God’s will, that’s it’s already been provided through the redemptive work of Christ, and we by faith, along with corresponding action, take hold of it.
Now a key point is this. We are taking hold of what Christ has already provided for us.
Just like the scripture says by grace we are saved through faith. When was salvation provided for us. It was provided when Jesus died for our sins and was rose again. But we say we are saved when we receive it. We are receiving what’s already been done.
It’s the same for all God’s promises including healing.
When was healing provided? Again it was provided through the redemptive work of Christ. It’s already been done.
1 Peter 2:24 says, He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we might die to sin and live to righteousness. By his wounds you have been healed.
We believe God and receive healing. We say we are healed but truthfully, we were healed already and by faith we take hold of what was provided for us by grace. Meaning we don’t deserve it or earn it.
This is important. God, through the redemptive work of Christ, has already provided for your healing. That’s what the Scripture says.
We hear that truth, receive it and accept it in our hearts. Faith rises and with that faith we believe with corresponding action and take hold of, or receive what has already been provided for us.
The work for our healing has already been done. We act in faith to take it for ourselves by believing what God’s Word says is true.
Everything God’s Word reveals as his will is a promise. And Scripture says because of Christ, all the promises have already been done, been provided for and are for us to receive.
2 Corinthians 1:20 English Standard Version
20 For all the promises of God find their Yes in him. That is why it is through him that we utter our Amen to God for his glory.
