The Faithfulness of God and His Word
Download MP3 The Faithfulness of God and His Word
Psalm 33:4 ESV
“For the word of the Lord is upright, and all his work is done in faithfulness.”
Psalm 100:5 ESV
“For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations.”
Deuteronomy 7:9 ESV
“Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations,”
Joshua 21:45 ESV
“Not one word of all the good promises that the Lord had made to the house of Israel had failed; all came to pass.”
Psalm 119:86 Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
“All Your commandments are faithful and sure.”
We need to understand that God is faithful and his Words are faithful. They are always true. They will not return to him void.
Isaiah 55 ESV
10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven and do not return there but water the earth, making it bring forth and sprout, giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
Acts 11:14 WEB
“who will speak to you words by which you will be saved, you and all your house.”
Acts 11:14
Amplified Bible, Classic Edition
14 He will give and explain to you a message by means of which you and all your household [as well] will be saved [[a]from eternal death].
Words by which you will be saved or a message by means of which you and your household will be saved.
It needs to be rooted in our hearts that God is faithful and his Words are Faithful. His Words are everlasting. (Matthew 24:35)
When we read the Word of God, or hear the Word of God taught or proclaimed, we need to recognize his Words are truth, they are life, they are health. His Word is everlasting and God is always looking over his Word to perform it in our lives and he is faithful to bring them to pass.
