38 how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power. He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with him.

6 But he gives more grace. Therefore it says, “God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.” 7 Submit yourselves therefore to God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.

who heals all your diseases,
I remember a time when I could tell a cold was coming on.
I knew sickness wasn’t of God and I knew the God tells me through his Word to resist it. So just starting saying, sickness I resist you.
You see my heart was to humble myself before God and do what he says do. I knew the Word says to resist what the devil brings so I simply stated and made my confession of, “Sickness I resist you.” On the authority of the Word I resisted.
Then I humbled myself again and prayed, “God, is there anything else or anything specific you want me to do in resisting this cold?” It seemed he answered me down in my spirit saying, “Take some cough medicine for the symptoms”. That’s what I believed God spoke to my through just a knowing in my spirit and that’s what I did. The cold that was coming, never did come. Glory to God!
