Confession Is:
According to the website Bible.org, the primary Greek word for “confess” is homologeo which basically means “to say the same thing” and then “agree, admit, acknowledge.”

Confession is agreeing with.

We confess our sins but we also confess the truth revealed in God's Word, who God is, who we are and the truth of his Promises!

Scriptures:

1 Timothy 6:12   (WEB)
Fight the good fight of faith. Take hold of the eternal life to which you were called, and you confessed the good confession in the sight of many witnesses.

Hebrews 10:23 (ESV) says, “Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for he who promised is faithful.”

Romans 10:9-10 (ESV)
9 because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved.

Revelations 12:11, “And they overcame him by the blood of the Lamb, and by the word of their testimony…”

Joshua 1:8 (ESV) This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.

Exodus 15:26  (ESV)
26 saying, “If you will diligently listen to the voice of the Lord your God, and do that which is right in his eyes, and give ear to his commandments and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you that I put on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, your Healer.”

God reveals himself as our Healer. Let's make that truth our confession. Let's agree with God for who he says he is!
