Healing Is Our Reward

We must believe two things if we want to draw closer to God. We must believe that he is and we must believe he is a rewarder. What does God reward us with? Let’s look at what the scriptures says in Genesis.
After these things the word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward. - Genesis 15:1 (KJV)
God himself is our reward!
Now if we look at a different translation we see it reads a little differently.
After these things the word of the Lord came to Abram in a vision: “Fear not, Abram, I am your shield; your reward shall be very great.” - Genesis 15:1 (ESV)
All good things come from God so we can either say God himself is our reward or our reward comes from God. It’s all God giving of himself to those who draw near to him by faith.
Remember we have to believe God is. God has revealed much of who he and in Exodus he clearly says he is our Healer.
“...I am the Lord, your healer.” - Exodus 15:26
To come to God we must believe God is. God is what? God is who he said he is and in this verse he says he is our Healer! We must believe God is our healer! And, our reward is knowing him as our Healer, experiencing and walking in health and healing.
Another way of saying reward is to say benefit. Look at this list of benefits!
1 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and all that is within me,
bless his holy name!
2 Bless the Lord, O my soul,
and forget not all his benefits,
3 who forgives all your iniquity,
who heals all your diseases,
4 who redeems your life from the pit,
who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy,
5 who satisfies you with good
so that your youth is renewed like the eagle's. - Psalm 103:1-3 (ESV)
God is our Healer! To come to him we must believe he is our Healer and we must believe he rewards us and that reward (benefit) includes healing. We must believe he is our healer and that he causes us to walk in healing! Glory to God.
Praise God as your Healer! Worship him as your Healer for this is the truth of his Word. Also, thank him for giving you healing. Do this by faith believing his Word is true.
