“He sends his word, and heals them, and delivers them from their graves.”
Isaiah 55:10-11 ESV
10 “For as the rain and the snow come down from heaven
and do not return there but water the earth,
making it bring forth and sprout,
giving seed to the sower and bread to the eater,
11 so shall my word be that goes out from my mouth;
it shall not return to me empty,
but it shall accomplish that which I purpose,
and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.
What is the revealed purpose of God sending his Word? To Heal.
We have in our possession the documented recorded Word of God which reveals his truth and his will. He sent his word in part to bring physical healing.
Why does a doctor give you medicine? To aid in healing.
God’s Word can cause a healing effect to our body if we will accept that truth in our heart and confess it with our mouth.
Isaiah 57: 18-19 WEB
18 I have seen his ways, but I will heal him;
I will lead him and restore comfort to him and his mourners,
19 creating the fruit of the lips.
Peace, peace, to the far and to the near,” says the Lord,
“and I will heal him.
